Purpose
The Boise WaterShed's purpose is to become a regional destination for water-related resources and education. We desire to educate people about the importance of taking care our water supply so it remains a sustainable resource.

Description
The mission of the Boise WaterShed Environmental Education Center is to teach people of all ages to protect and conserve our precious water resources for future generations. The Boise WaterShed opened May 15, 2008 and offers water-based education lessons, wastewater treatment plant and water quality lab tours, and variety of high-tech touch screen exhibits about the water cycle, water history, water treatment, water stewardship and much, much more.
