National Environmental Services Center

Description:
The National Drinking Water Clearinghouse (NDWC) is a public service organization dedicated to helping small communities by collecting, developing, and providing timely information relevant to drinking water issues. The NDWC is sponsored through the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Development (USDA RUS). The program serves as an extension of RUS's commitment to providing technical assistance to America's small and rural drinking water treatment plants.

Purpose:
NESC assists small and rural communities with their drinking water, wastewater, environmental training, infrastructure resilience, and utility management needs and helps them find solutions to problems they face. Our staff of environmental specialists, engineers, certified operators, writers, editors, and trainers understand the latest technologies, regulations, and industry developments.
