New Forests Project

Description:
Since 1989, the International Center’s Clean Water Initiative has brought clean drinking water to communities in need in rural Central America. Purpose:
Providing appropriate technology and products to disinfect water
Supporting networks of rural water associations.
Supporting efforts to create a water and sanitation certification program
Supporting the expansion of the Circuit Rider Program in Latin America.
Providing training and information materials to better understand watersheds, and the relationships between forests, water, environment and health.
